NovaSolar Signed 300MW PV Solar Plant Project in Bazhou XinJiang

September 2nd 2011, NovaSolar attended the Asia-Europe Expo in Urumqi , Xinjiang China and signed the 300MW solar farm contract with the local government( Bazhou). Mr. Darien Spencer, the COO of NovaSolar said that, NovaSolar has the cutting edge PV Solar thin film technology developed in Silicon Valley , combined with the advantageous geographical condition of Xinjiang and abundant solar radiation, he is very confident for the success of the project. He also said it is a great honor for NovaSolar to be part of Xinjiang’s development and he really appreciates the big cooperation opportunity provided by the local government. The total investment of the Project would be a total of RMB 4.5 billion. Construction work will start from 2012 and is targeted to finish in 2014.
